Portinatx is a small traditional resort at the northernmost tip of Ibiza, thirty kilometres from the town of Ibiza. It is a very attractive village, with the accommodation consisting mainly of low rise, whitewashed buildings which nestle among pine trees on gentle slopes rising from sea level. Portinatx is a quiet resort set in beautiful natural surroundings away from the busy, larger towns. It boasts three sandy beaches with crystalline waters ideal for snorkelling or scuba-diving. The horse-shoe shaped Portinatx bay gives shelter to the beaches of S’Arenal Gros and S’Arenal Petit, while the Playa Porto beach is located on the other side of the headland, within 50 metres of Nort Apartments.
