 Sightseeing Minimize

Sant  Joan de Labritja

Travel through olive groves and almond orchards to the nearby village of San Juan where the holiday maker is invited to take a step back in time. Amble through the narrow cobbled streets with balconies overflowing with brilliantly coloured potted plants, past the pretty whitewashed 18th century church and enjoy refreshments in the pavement cafes.

Ibiza town

The capital of the island lies in the south, very close to the airport. The hill that is Dalt Vila, the old town, is a maze of cobbled streets encircled by a 16th century wall, and with an imposing castle and cathedral at its summit. The Archeological Museum is worth a visit, once you have made the steep climb.
Eivissa is, however, most well known for its pulsating night life, where bars and discos are open all night and fill up with tourists every night during the summer months.

Can Marca Cave

Located at Puerto San Miguel, this cave is over 100,000 years old. It is almost fossilised, except for the deepest galleries, where the dripping still forms stalactites. The cave was discovered by smugglers and one can still see paint marks on the walls indicating emergency escape routes!
